Electrifying NBA Players

October 8, 2008

Last night was yet another landmark in the sports calendar; the start of the NBA pre-season. Yes, it’s true that these games really mean nothing, as they simply do not count and most NBA rosters are already determined. However, the staff here at Sports Poster Warehouse are all quite excited. Thus, to help everyone get through the NBA pre-season schedule without yawning, we have outlined who we believe will be the 5 most electrifying players in the NBA this season.

March Madness Posters – 2008 NCAA Basketball Tournament

March 18, 2008

Are you ready for March Madness

March Madness has arrived, and with it the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament brackets.  This is definitely the most exciting time of the year.    I love the tournament and every year I hope and pray for first round upsets, but last year was a year of favorites, as Florida (#1 seed) beat Ohio State (#1 seed)  in the Finals, will this year be another year where the favorites win.  I think so.

Who do you think will win?

A #1 Seed:

North Carolina            UCLA               Kansas             Memphis

a #2 Seed:

            Texas                       Georgetown                   Tennessee              Duke

 Others:

    Wisconsin              Louisville              UConn                 Pitt                   Stanford

No matter who wins, this is an exciting time for sports.    In addition to the tournament, the NBA season is winding down and the race in the Western conference is unbelievable as 9 teams are separated by only 5 games.

Enjoy this time of year, I know I will.   Time to go fill out my bracket.

Boston, Boston, Boston

January 4, 2008

All week we’ve been writing about how good it must be to be a sports fan in the Boston area; the Celtics are no exception to Bostons success.  In light of this, we’ve been able to get our hands on some brand-spanking new Celtics stock.

“Official Logo”

Surely the Celtics are playoff bound.  Could there be a better way to acknowledge this than with this simple, elegant design, featuring one of the most beloved mascots in sports.  This is the perfect for the wall of any Celtics fan, young or old.

“Celtics Star”

Welcome to Beantown Kevin Garnett.  A big acquisition for the Celtics, the former MVP, ten-time all-star was acquired from the now-struggling Timberwolves in a trade involving Ryan Gomes, Gerald Green, Al Jefferson, Theo Ratliff, Sebastian Telfair, and a 2009 first round draft-pick.

You don’t need us to tell you how well Garnett is settling into a green and white uniform, leading the team in both blocks and steals – this is his first Celtics poster, and hopefully just one of many more to come!

“Celtics Action”

Just how good was the off-season for the Celtics?  In addition to Garnett they also managed to pick up Ray Allen from the Sonics.  Allen was picked up in June in a multi-player exchange also involving Jeff Green, Delonte West, Wally Szczerbiak, and Jeff Green.

If you’re a fan of the Celtics, Allen or just Spike Lee movies – this is the perfect addition to any wall.

“Ballers”

Surely one of the most feared trios in the NBA.  Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett together again, combined with Celtic veteran Paul Pierce.  Together they have averaged 59.5 Points Per Game and have led the Celtics to a 7 game winning streak and a NBA high 27-3 record.

Get in while you can, with the Celtics performance thus far – surely we won’t have these in stock for long!
